We love literature. We love reading it, we love writing it, and we love talking about it. We also delving into the “deep shelf” material of favorite authors, and we also love discovering exciting new voices. At The Midnight Oil, we seek to provide a venue where each issue new and emerging writers can be published alongside established masters of their craft, where old favorites and new favorites collide, and you’ll find writing that will keep you reading into the wee hours of the morning, even when you know that you really should be getting to bed because of that 9 am conference call tomorrow.

However please bear the following in mind: We do not provide book reviews, pull quotes, or endorsements of any kind. We do not subscribe to any mailing lists. We do not accept submissions via e-mail.
